Hi Everyone Below is the latest Friday night meal listings, especially for those who like to plan. The only night that does not require prebooking is the Fish and Chip nights. All meals are cooked by volunteers, and we try to offer a variety of meals so as it doesn’t become boring. • 18 September – Soup, Toast and Dessert Just a friendly reminder that if you wish to attend the Club Team meal on Friday 18th September please phone CARMEL 0448 762 590 to put your name on the list. Friday’s meal will be variety of soups, toast and dessert for $10 per person. • 25 September – Ham Steaks and Veg • 2 October – Fish and Chips • 9 October – BBQ Night • 16 October – Mexican Night – Enchiladas – (Beef or Chicken) • 23 October – Lasagne Scrolls – (Meat or Vegetarian) • 30 October – Schnitzel – (Beef or Chicken) Now that the nicer weather seems to be coming in, we hope to see you at the RSL. • Thursday night come along and have a game of 8-ball or a game of darts, buy a ticket or two in Winners and Losers and meat trays, have snacks on offer and enjoy good company. • Friday night come and enjoy a great meal, buy a ticket in the cash card to win $25 and have a good laugh with others. If there are meals that you would like to book for but can’t get to the RSL please phone me - Moira on 0447 140 542 and I will put you on the list. 1. Christmas Dinner is set for the 19th December and will be catered by the Hospital Auxiliary. Menu and price of dinner not yet decided. 2. A raffle will be run to raise funds for a new deep fryer for the kitchen. Each member living in Peterborough or locally will be given a book of 10 tickets to sell or buy themselves. Moira and Marilyn will be selling tickets down the Main Street as well. Tickets are $1 each and will be drawn on the 30th October. Raffle books will be at the RSL for you to collect as you visit or Moira will be dropping them in your letterbox. 1st prize - $100 voucher from Foodland 2nd Prize –$50 voucher for a dinner for two from the Peterborough Hotel 3rd prize - $50 voucher from the Peterborough Newsagency 4th prize - $50 meat voucher from Peterborough Meat Supplies
