2020 Peterborough Art & Cultural Festival

Theme will be Wheels

Enjoy 10 days of fabulous exhibitions and events. Talented Australian Artists and photographers are showcased at the Peterborough Art Prize in the beautiful Peterborough Town Hall Be delighted by Unique life-sized sculptures created by local artists at The Goods Shed Papier Mache/Wireworks Exhibition "From Waste to Wonderful' Admire the Gorgeous Quilts and superb needlework by Peterborough Patchworkers. Take a tour of the Working Print Shop. Smoking Ceremony at the Rotunda in the Main Street. Saturday 4th, 10:30am Treat yourself at The Markets on Saturday April 4th and 11th from 9am until 3pm with Homemade Goodies, Local Crafts, Bric a Brac, Food, Drinks, Local Olive Oil & much more, with Free Entertainment. Enjoy the Music at the Free Family Concert on Sunday 5th April, 2:30pm for 3:00pm start, at the Soldiers Memorial Oval, Main Street. BYO Chairs, Blankets, Food and Drinks. Features Zac Eden (Melbourne based Singer/Songwriter), Megan Doherty (UK/Australian Cabaret Artist), John Murphy, Chris Malycha, Jukebox Sid plus the Sing Australia Choir. This concert is one of a series of Music Events during the Festival, proudly supported by a grant from the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal. Children’s Art Competition Scarecrow Trail Concert in St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Kitchener St., Tuesday 7th April, 7:30pm. A concert of fine vocal and instrumental music featuring classical songs, music theatre plus a little opera and Gilbert and Sullivan from baritone Peter Hopkins. Lesley Kulow will feature on the clarinet with classical and contemporary pieces. Margie Symonds will be the accompanist. Our host for the evening will be Heather Parker. Duration about 1 hour 15 minutes Me ‘N Me Mates, Australian songs & stories.
